Alpaka-plush and stuffed with special polyester fibres and granulate, the baby is made up of 30 individual pieces and the adult of 79 pieces.
Sloth Bears have particularly long and stong claws. they dig up termite hills and suck in the insects. The snout has adapted a peculiar shape for this, and the Sloth Bear can fold its lips forward and close its nostrils. The fur is black and rather long, possibly to protect against angry insects. The U-shaped white marking on the chest and the small white tufts in the ears of the bears differ greatly in different bears.
